LISTENING TO THE GUARDIANS OF THE EARTH
TO PROTECT LIFE
WE ARE VARI VENA
VARI VENA means New Sun in the Nokê Vana language of the Noke Koî people of Amazonia.
The New Sun highlights what is important for Life and for all living beings.
It brings hope and strength, so that together we can build a new world based on respect and unity.
Native peoples,
guardians of biodiversity
Native peoples, representing 4% of the world’s population, have managed to preserve 80% of biodiversity to date.
Thanks to the transmission of this knowledge, they bring humanity this authentic and profound relationship with nature and ourselves.
"It's no longer a time for white, black or mixed race, it's a time for humanity.
It's time to rebuild what has been fragmented in our society and move forward together, through our differences, in the same direction."
a commitment to
preserve nature and culture
Indigenous cultures hold invaluable wisdom, recognized by many scientists, to help overcome the current civilizational crisis.
Despite the threats of extinction and the pressures of society, these peoples continue to transmit to us, through their cosmologies, that all the elements of nature are interconnected and form a balanced ecosystem essential to the survival of all life on earth.
