Our Missions
Today, our planet is facing intensive exploitation of its natural resources.
Native peoples are threatened with extinction and deprived of exercising their practices and traditions within Western society. Despite this situation, they continue to fight to preserve their cultures and territories.
We know that every living species is dependent on nature for its own survival.
Through the teachings and living wisdom passed on by their ancestors and through medicinal plants, indigenous peoples retain the knowledge of intelligent social structures, ways of functioning and collective living that maintain a correct way of life. These peoples communicate with nature, which helps preserve biodiversity and culture.
Our society has reached a point of no return and is no longer in tune with the needs of our ecosystem. Being in touch with several representatives of certain indigenous nations, the Vari Vena association understands the need to accompany and take on the role of intermediary between indigenous peoples and Western society.
For this reason, Vari Vena supports various projects proposed by these communities. The association provides support through accompaniment, communication and the search for economic resources to develop existing projects and improve their quality of life and security.
In this way, we can all continue to work for the protection of nature and the various forms of ancestral knowledge that belong to the heritage of mankind.
